An immersive showroom - what for?

At Carrefour, we organize a non-food showroom twice a year for our stores in Europe. A way for them to discover the next collections. In order to remove geographical barriers and raise awareness about those product ranges Carrefour partnered with RetailVR to create an immersive experience accessible by all our store managers. This virtual showroom is a 3D capture of the physical showroom in which visitors can walk around as if they were there! .

A collaborative approach

We wanted to enable all Carrefour store managers to discover non-food collections in the best possible way even if they cannot go directly onsite. What better method than collaborating with the field teams! Indeed In order to create the best experience, we worked closely with teams from the formats to create a tool dedicated to employees, a tool which meets their needs!

Safe and reliable

A co-created solution!

Accessible for 1 month from 30 January 2023, each manager was able to connect to the virtual showroom directly from home or from their store with their associates. Inside the showroom, everything is identical to what you find in the physical shop. The showroom is divided into 9 thematic workshops.. Within each of them there are different media such as videos or audios allowing the category managers to present the ranges in more detail. For the best-selling products, product sheets are also available! These materials allow a greater immersion in the experience and help our managers to choose the best products for their store, and therefore for their customers !
